In today's class we learned about Stanley Kubrick. There are many violent scenes in his movies, but it was interesting because there was tension there.
I saw a Lincoln clip. He is a great president who has lost slavery, but for the first time he knows that he is struggling not only at work but also at home.
Always sunset on third street was released in 2005.It was directed by Takashi Yamayazaki. It won the japan academy award (Best work award).This movie had a box office of 3.23billion yen. Set in 1958 in downtown Tokyo after the post war reconstruction, this movie warmly portrays the interactions between the residents of Yuhi Third street. Its a wonderful movie that details the scenery of showa japan, such as the Tokyo Tower still under construction. This work has a total of three episodes. I've watched all of them, but every episodes warms my heart. In this movie, there is a main character, but all the characters in this movie have backgrounds and stories, and all of them are main characters. The main focus is on the Chagawa and Suzuki families, and the closeness between the two families is depicted, as well as their children from elementary school to high school. There is another important story. The Suzuki family runs a small town factory, and a girl from the countrys...
